The "Portimão Participates" session will bring together ideas for Álvaro Bila's program

The “Portimão Participates” session is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, at the Retiro do Peixe Assado Space.

The initiative, according to the organization, aims to gather contributions from the population for the preparation of the Socialist Party's ( PS ) electoral program for the next local elections.

According to the candidate and current mayor of Portimão, it will be a time for "active listening, sharing of ideas and joint construction", and he therefore challenges all residents of Portimão to get involved "in the future of the municipality".

“I’m counting on everyone’s presence — because Portimão deserves ideas rooted in the community and a vision for the future,” says Álvaro Bila , in a note sent to newsrooms today.

Participation is free, but requires prior registration, until July 10th, through an online form.
